- Ensure the surface is clean and strong and contains no oily substances. The plaster should be firm and there no loosely held plaster or powder.
- Cracks and dents should be repaired using a crack sealer or plaster.
- Clean the surface clearly using water and a brush.
- For an existing surface remove putty and paints clearly from the affected area. You should consider a 1-foot additional area to the existing affected area.
